Apple is working on a significant upgrade to Siri, using large language models (LLMs) to make it more conversational and capable, similar to ChatGPT. This “LLM Siri” will be able to handle complex requests, have back-and-forth conversations, and integrate with Apple Intelligence features. While testing is underway, the public release is expected no sooner than spring 2026.
